A global genomics leader, Illumina provides complete next-generation sequencing workflow

solutions to the basic and translational research communities. Illumina technology is responsible

for generating more than 90% of the world’s sequencing data. 

Through collaborative innovation, Illumina and Ill is fueling groundbreaking advancements in the

fields of oncology, reproductive health, genetic disease, microbiology, agriculture, and forensic

science.

In Summer 2019, Illumina announced the launch of Illumina Accelerator Cambridge, its first

international expansion since the inception of Illumina Accelerator San Francisco Bay Area in

2014. Illumina Accelerator is a company creation engine focused on partnering with

entrepreneurs to build break through genomics startups. The inaugural funding cycle of Illumina

Accelerator Cambridge will begin in Spring 2020.

Applications for Illumina Accelerator’s inaugural funding cycle in Cambridge, UK and the

eleventh funding cycle in the San Francisco Bay Area are due by November 1, 2019. Through a

single, global application process, Illumina Accelerator will select up to five companies in each

location to participate in two, six-month cycles per year. To learn more and apply, please visit

Illumina 1:1 Meeting Opportunity: 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm

Illumina is seeking to meet with research institutions, companies, and entrepreneurs at all stages

to explore strategic partnerships, investments, and partnering opportunities. Additionally,

Illumina Accelerator is interested in meeting with startups developing breakthrough applications

in genomics.

Illumina is interested in:

 - Technologies related to genomics and their applications in agriculture, biotech, and health care.

 - Applications of genomics including therapeutics, agriculture technologies, oncology,

reproductive health, synthetic biology, direct to consumer, and diagnostics.

 - Bioinformatics and data analytics approaches.
